Here's some words of optimism from Jamie Vardy enabler Claudio Ranieri.

Remi Garde: "The win for Leicester against Villa earlier this season was a very important win for them. To beat them this weekend would be a big boost for us. The victory over Palace gave us more confidence. The players know the level they can play at. Hopefully we can do this from now until the end of the season."

Claudio Ranieri: "It's easy to say 'yes, Leicester can fight for the title' but of course I think they don't believe; everybody says 'sooner or later they will slow down'. Nobody knows and we don't have the pedigree to say 'yes, Leicester is there' so far.

"I think slowly, slowly [the players] believe they can do something special. It's not easy of course, but it is important to try."

For Aston Villa, Ali Cissokho is back in the side, and Richardson is now on the bench. Kozak starts, too, as Garde enters a period where he'll throw all sorts at the wall to see what sticks.

Jamie Vardy has recovered from his recent operation to lead the line. Okazaki also keeps his place in the starting line up, but there's plenty of changes to the side that played Spurs last week.

This'll be an interesting one. Contrasting seasons from these teams so far, but Villa showed signs of life in midweek against Crystal Palace, thoroughly deserving their win.
