Reasons for Bournemouth fans to be optimistic: Liverpool won after a European fixture for only the second time in eight attempts this season at the expense of Stoke last weekend (W2, D4, L2). They could suffer a Dortmund hangover today.

This could well be a tall order for Bournemouth with Liverpool high on confidence after their sensational comeback against Dortmund in midweek. The Reds have suffered only one defeat in their last seven league games, scoring 20 goals in the process (W4, D2).

Jurgen Klopp: "[On the boost from the 4-3 win over Dortmund] There are a few obvious things you learn like never give up. You need things like this to believe in things. If you read it in a book you think, 'Oh nice', but it is really rare. It is a really big thing to be involved in something like this. Most footballers play their whole lives and are not involved in something like this but have successful careers. It is a drama in a positive way, you can use it in the next situation, but it does not mean it always works. The other thing is if you have the right plan you have to carry on. We didn't concede the goals because we played bad, we conceded the goals because we lost the ball in a moment where we tried to play football. Then you saw all of the quality and confidence of Dortmund. But that doesn't mean anything about your game - only we should not do this again. That is what you have to learn. If you are convinced about your plan, do it. Football is a game that doesn't work without mistakes, that is how it is, but you have to do as many things perfect as possible."

Eddie Howe: "They are a strong side and he [Klopp] is imprinting his ideas on them, you can see that with the way they press and work. That is a hallmark of his Borussia Dortmund team and you can see he has implemented that on his players at Liverpool. I think we will possibly see a different team (selection on Sunday) because they might rotate their side. They have some big games to come. We will anticipate a hard-working and full of energy Liverpool team. You can't predict them too much, we have to focus on what we are going to do."
