Bad news for Baggies fans hoping for a fast start tonight. West Brom haven’t scored in the opening 15 minutes of a Premier League game since May 18th 2015 and are the only side yet to do so this season.

STAT: Guus Hiddink has lost just one of his 16 Premier League games as a manager (W12 D3 L1) and has the best win ratio of any manager to have taken charge of 4+ games in the competition (75%).

Diego Costa will be looking to continue his return to goalscoring form tonight after shaking off a knock to his knee. He has scored as many goals in two Premier League games under Guus Hiddink this season (3) as he had in 14 league appearances under Jose Mourinho and Steve Holland in 2015-16 (3).

Tony Pulis, West Brom: “We're in for a tough game It's Chelsea they've some wonderful players and we'll have to be on it and at our best.That's the same with every top four or five club. If you go away and play against them you have to have at least ten of your players playing to their maximum to get a result.”

It's a tall order on past history for West Brom tonight. Chelsea have lost just one of their last six Premier League meetings with WBA (W3 D2 L1). The Baggies have lost more Premier League games against Chelsea than versus any other opponent (14).

Guus Hiddink, Chelsea: "So long as we have the possibility to go to fourth place we will go for that. You cannot expect that every game is an exciting game, but all the coaches I think like to see their game played in an exciting way. That's huge. (If we lose only one game) then we are close (to reaching the top four) - and that is not boring."
