In fact, Drinkwater deserves another mention. He's been superb this season - exactly what Leicester have needed. He sits deep in midfield and keeps things ticking over, freeing up Kante and shielding his centre-backs brilliantly.

Drinkwater has kept things simple so far - as he always does - but his through-ball towards Vardy asks a little too much of the forward. Both are likely to link up for England next week, and deservedly so.

Leicester have started with their usual high energy. Okazaki somehow manages to squeeze in a looping cross, but Mahrez can't get his head on it with the goal gaping.

Albrighton fires a low cross into the box, but it's cut out and Palace clear.

Arsenal's win in the lunchtime kick-off means they are still in the hunt behind the Foxes, but with Tottenham not playing until tomorrow this is a chance for Leicester to stretch their lead at the top even further.

It's been a lively start at Selhurst, with both teams playing with lots of pace and trying to put their stamp on the game in the early stages.

It's a very lively start from Leicester. Vardy cuts the ball back into the box and then Huth wipes out Zaha as the Eagles look to break.

It's fair to say that Leicester physio Dave Rennie wasn't too impressed with the facilities he found at Selhurst Park when turning up today...

Claudio Ranieri had some good news for Leicester fans ahead of this match: he's sticking with the club no matter what offers come his way. "No team can change my mind. I am very proud if they are thinking about me in Italy and everywhere but this is my club. I want to stay here, if my owner is happy I stay here. There is nothing to change my mind. There are a lot of things to do here. We are just starting to build. If the owner is happy with me, I am happy with him. If it's possible I would like to stay (for) a long time."

Alan Pardew on Crystal Palace's chances today: "But we're playing the perfect team - everything is falling for them. Not one pundit thinks we'll win, so that's actually when Palace are good."

...as the old joke goes, however, this match will be played on grass rather than on paper. The Eagles are riding high after making the FA Cup semi-finals, have been desperately unlucky not to win matches in recent weeks, and have developed a curious habit of pulling off big results against title contenders in the last few seasons. Just ask a Liverpool fan. This is a serious banana skin for Claudio Ranieri's men.

Palace haven't won in the league since Christmas, while Leicester are of course brilliant. On paper this should be an easy three points for the Foxes...
