Good afternoon and welcome to LIVE coverage of Everton against Chelsea from Goodison Park. Chelsea can ill-afford to drop any more points so early in the season. Jose Mourinho's side have a meagre total of four points from their opening four matches, something which will alarm Blues fans as Manchester City sit pretty at the Premier League summit on a maximum haul. Everton will be fairly content with their start to the campaign. Five points might not represent much progress from last season, but they've already faced City and emerged with a draw from their trip to Tottenham. It's a nightmare match for Chelsea, who desperately need a run of wins to put the pressure on their rivals, with Romelu Lukaku undoubtedly out to prove a point to his former club.

Chelsea
There goes the final whistle. Chelsea can't really wait to get out of town. It is a 3-1 win for Everton. Well deserved, but Chelsea are in what you would call a crisis after five games of the season.

Naismith is the third player with a hat-trick in a league match against teams managed by José Mourinho after Xavier Prieto scored a treble for Real Sociedad against Real Madrid on 6 January 2013 (4-3 loss) and Carlos Frederico Lagorio for CS Marîtmo against Benfica on 5 November 2000 (3-0 win).

Everton
Everton are heading up to third spot in the table behind Manchester City and Crystal Palace. Steven Naismith has been named man of the match. Not a huge surprise with that decision.

Azpilicueta is the latest man into the book for a cynical late challenge out wide. Silly and ill-advised. Sums up Chelsea's defending on the day.

Everton
Steven Naismith is only the fourth player in the Premier League era to score a hat-trick against Chelsea after Robin van Persie, Nwankwo Kanu (both Arsenal) and Patrik Berger (Liverpool).

Mourinho looks slightly rueful on the bench. Four points from five games is not an experience he would have predicted a few weeks ago. The champions are going to be a long way back after this defeat.

Chelsea
Naismith set to celebrate his 29th birthday on Monday. Not a bad birthday present. Chelsea on the cusp of trailing the leaders by 11 points after this match. Would be their worst start to a season since they were a second division club.

GOAL! Naismith with his hat-trick. A brilliant finish from the Barkley pass, and that should be game, set and match. Begovic caught too far off his line as the ball rattled under him. A 3-1 lead for Everton.

Chelsea leaving spaces at the back as they seek this equaliser. Everton happy to hit on the break.

Chelsea are the third club to concede at least two goals in their first five Premier League matches of the season following Everton in 1994/1995 and Derby County in 2000/2001.
