Pardew has emerged from the dugout to the edge of his technical area and has turned red in the face such is his anger at the way his side have started the game. "This isn't a performance befitting of a side managed by a future England manager,"... is probably the thought running through his head right now.

It's a pulsating game so far, with Leicester completely dominating possession and territory. But Palace are going so direct when they get the chance that it's stretching play and leaving the Foxes defence with plenty to worry about.
21'
The rain continues to teem down at the King Power. Ranieri has his hood up as he strolls around the technical area, while Pardew is keeping his silvery locks dry in the safety of the dugout.
20'
Leicester pour forward again on the break, but Fuchs' cross into the box is well dealt with by the Palace defence.
19'
Palace break through Sako, who holds off the not inconsiderable frame of Morgan before trying to thread a pass into the box. It's cut out, but that's more like it from Palace.

Drinkwater lets fly from the edge of the box, but it's straight into the grateful arms of Hennessey and Palace continue to survive by the skin of their teeth.
15'
Kante gives Palace some respite as his speculative effort flies well over the bar. It's been all Leicester and the visitors are clinging on at the moment.

The Foxes break at pace and Mahrez slips a through-ball into the path of Vardy. The striker twists and turns away from the last man, but the flag is up to deny him a shooting opportunity.

Leicester have woken up in dramatic fashion and, unsurprisingly, it's Mahrez and Vardy who are causing most of the problems for the Palace back four.

Mahrez sends a free-kick into the wall, but he tees up the rebound for a second attempt and forces the keeper into making a save.
7'
Vardy chases down a lost cause, but his pace and work-rate turn it into a terrific opportunity for the Foxes as he robs possession out on the touchline and bursts into the area, fizzing a square ball across the face of goal.
6'
Mahrez wastes a golden opportunity to open the scoring after Albrighton's speculative effort comes back off the post. It sits up nicely for Mahrez, but he drags the rebound wide of the far post.
3'
Palace have started the stronger of the two sides, with Cabaye controlling the tempo from central midfield and looking for the runs of the two wingers in behind.

The fans at the King Power are in fine voice. The fans of both of these clubs have been a very welcome addition to the English top-flight over the last couple of years... and the two teams haven't been too bad either!

Crystal Palace get the game underway, kitted out in their change white strip. Leicester are in their usual all blue number.

Kick-off is just five minutes away at the King Power and the players are gathering in the tunnel. There’s a light sprinkling of rain greasing the top of the playing surface, which won’t overly worry two teams who love to use their pace on the break. This is a fascinating clash between the two (cliché alert) surprise packages of the season so far – will it be counter-attacking kings Crystal Palace who come out on top, or the masters of the comeback Leicester City who emerge with three points? We’re about to find out.
