West Ham will be the happier to escape with their fourth consecutive draw, while Swansea City have missed the chance to move out of the bottom three and now boast just one victory in their last 14 matches in all competitions. CHANCE: Shelvey plays a brilliant lofted pass through to Gomis and Adrian beats the Frenchman to the ball by inches to clear. Sigurdsson gathers the rebound with the goalkeeper stranded but his shot is deflected wide.

CHANCE: Valencia drifts out to the left again and jinks down the line past Fernandez this time before sending a low cross in, and in the end Williams is forced to get his body in front of an Obiang shot.

CHANCE: Valencia tests Fabianski's powers of recovery to the limit, cutting inside from the left and ripping a shot towards goal that the Pole reacts superbly to tip over the bar.

The home side work the ball from left to right, passing up several opportunities to shoot from distance until the ball reaches Naughton, who skews a low shot wide.
