Hello and welcome to LIVE text commentary of Tottenham's Premier League clash with Newcastle United at White Hart Lane. Mauricio Pochettino's men are nine-matches unbeaten and can leapfrog Manchester United into fourth place with victory over the Magpies. There's also a big incentive for Steve McClaren's charges, who will move out of the drop zone with a third successive league triumph at the Lane.

FT: Spurs 1-2 Newcastle. Mauricio Pochettino's side miss out on the chance to move into the top four after a tepid second-half display allowed Newcastle to secure a superb comeback success. The hosts failed to make the most of their first period dominance with Eric Dier's header all they had to show for it. Newcastle improved after the break and a double change from McClaren did the trick as Mitrovic and Perez claimed back-to-back wins for the first time in over a year. The Magpies jump out of the drop zone, above champions Chelsea and now have a platform to build upon for the rest of the season.

GOAL!!!! Perez has surely won it for Newcastle! A lob forward is flicked on by Mitrovic, allowing Perez to race into the box and somehow squeeze a shot through Lloris from a tight angle.

A late corner for Newcastle. Sissoko with another strong run down that right flank. He's been impressive in this second half.

Mitrovic and Alli come together. It's a bit of handbags. The ref has a word and gets play back underway. Sensible officiating.

What a tackle! Vertonghen slides in with the very definition of 'last-ditch' as he denies Perez who had danced into the area and looked set to fire past Lloris from eight yards.
