Watson hoiks a free kick into the box, but it's cleared for a throw. Ake takes a long throw into the box, Lloris claims the header into the air by Cathcart. And that's full time. A tight margin for victory in terms of the scoreline, but the control that Spurs had was obvious. Spurs move into second place, and are now just five points clear of the top.

Deeney stretches brilliantly to head back a cross into the path of Ighalo. His volley hits the ground and Lloris saves, and Deeney was ruled offside anyway. That, though, was close.

Eriksen off for Carroll.

There will be four minutes of added time, at least. Nyom crosses from the right, and Jurado gets a volley looping towards goal. He gets Trippier's boot in the face, and receives some treatment.

Carroll is ready to come on for Spurs.

Nyom finds Capoue behind him on the right, and Ighalo's overhead kick from the cross goes well wide.

Davies runs onto a ball over the top but his shot is straight at Gomes, who had braveley run out to block.

Trippier's cross is beaten away, and then Behrami blocks Eriksen's shot for a corner. Nothing from it.

Deeney holds up the ball outside the box, flicks it left to Ighalo, and his shot is deflected wide for a cross on the left.

Davies whips in an early cross for Kane, but it's just a yard behind him in the centre.

Gomes receives a backpass when it could have been played out wide, and he is pressed into an awful clearance to touch.

Blimey.

Ake hits it long for Deeney's run, but Wimmer heads it back for Lloris.

Son jinks in the box after running into the box, he shifts the ball right for a shot at goal, but Gomes beats it behind.

Jurado is only a few feet from putting Ighalo through on goal. Well, perhaps feet is generous.

Eriksen's free kick is met by Dier, but his header deflects off Cathcart for a corner. Eriksen's cross is met by Wimmer, but he scuffs it well wide and Nyom boots it away before Kane can reach it.

Son is on for Lamela.

Trippier smashes the ball away and Capoue catches him with his follow through, turning his back into him. Trippier might have exaggerated the contact, or the pain it caused him, and Capoue is lucky to be on the pitch still.

Eriksen slips in Lamela behind Ake, but under pressure from the left-back, he slices a shot wide of the near post.

With a couple more substitutions, Spurs can freshen up after a busy week.
