Adrian is down injured. He receives a backpass, starts to juggle it and Adrian starts juggling the ball. Khazri closes him down, and the ball slaps against him, loops into the air, and is out for a throw.

The ball is passed from Lanzini to Noble, 25 yards out, and his strike rattles the crossbar, with Mannone beaten.

Cresswell fires in a cross from the left, and it's claimed by Mannone, stretching out to catch.

Cattermole slides a pass forward into the path of Defoe, using the outside of his foot. Defoe shoots against Adrian, who ran out to narrow the angle, but he was ruled offside anyway.

West Ham again have the ball in defence. Sunderland drop back to their own half and keep their shape. Lanzini fires a pass towards Payet, but he can't keep the ball in.

Sunderland press West Ham back to their defence, and they don't have much luck in aiming towards their mini front three.

Cresswell's cross is cleared, and it runs to Van Aanholt on the left. He hoofs it to the West Ham defence.

Noble finds Antonio with a high ball forward, but the winger is dispossessed. A pass forward is aimed for Defoe to chase, but it's straight to Adrian.

West Ham again start the process of building from the back.

A West Ham corner on the right comes to nothing. Payet then takes the ball and wins another corner on the right. He curls the ball into the box, and it's headed out. Payet has yet another chance for a cross, which is cleared.

West Ham keep the ball in defence, until Collins sends it long into midfield, and SUnderland win it back briefly.

The second corner is again cleared at the near post, but the ball is worked back to Khazri, who drives into the box from the right wing, and his low cross is cleared.
