CLOSE! Sigurdsson steps up to take the free-kick... it takes a deflection and is goal-bound but a fantastic stop from Stekelenburg saves the hosts! A fantastic piece of goalkeeping.

Williams has hurt himself in that challenge and will have to leave the field for some treatment...

Now Everton lose the ball, and the visitors break through Barrow who has bundles of speed and he's eventually brought down by Williams. Swansea have a free-kick in a dangerous area...

Not too much happening at the moment. Everton are holding onto the ball in midfield but aren't really doing anything with it.
15'
Groans from the home supporters now as Barkley sends a corner delivery straight into the arms of Fabianski.

The Everton fans haven't been served up quite as much excitement as the Watford supporters have thus far. In fact, the visitors are on top at the moment here, though a first-time effort from Fer on the edge of the penalty area just now was never going in.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Watford are already leading 2-0 at home to Leicester.

Baines, returning for his first appearance since September, picks out Lukaku with a direct ball but the front man can't keep possession and Swansea can break.

The visitors are beginning to settle down a little bit now, keeping possession and frustrating the home crowd.

The corner is sent into the penalty area but the defenders do well to make the clearance.

Williams, playing against his former club, rather comically kicks the ball against his own face and concedes the corner.

SAVE! The hosts have the first opportunity of the game and it's that man Lukaku who comes close to opening the scores. Barkley finds him with a neat pass and the Belgian international only has one thing in mind but Fabianski does well to make the stop.

Everton are finding space on the wings with full-back Coleman and Bolasie seeing plenty of the ball in the opening stages.

KICK-OFF! Martin Atkinson gets us underway.

FIVE MINUTES UNTIL KICK-OFF! The atmosphere is building at Goodison Park where Everton are unbeaten in eight games, winning five of them. Meanwhile, Swansea will be hoping to silence the home crowd on their way to recording their first victory in 10 matches.

Everton can move into the top six with a victory this afternoon, but it's not going to be straight forward. The Blues haven't won any of their last four Premier League games against Swansea, drawing three and losing the most recent meeting 2-1 at Goodison Park in January.
There's also the small matter that Swansea are fighting for dear life at the bottom of the league.

Are Swansea in a crisis? According to South Korea midfielder Ki Sung-yeung, they are. However, Bob Bradley is in disagreement with his player.
"It is 11 games, for me four," he said.
"We certainly understand we are in an important stretch, we need results and a confidence boost. So we are not glossing over anything, that is for sure.
"But I would not say crisis. I just think we have to be strong, we have to understand that it's not just about one part of football.
"I've used the word 'intensity', and I still look at us at times and feel like we can be in a good position."

As you'd expect, Koeman wants his players to show their quality in front of their home fans this afternoon, but he isn't underestimating 19th placed Swansea.
“It is good to be back at Goodison because you need to feel strong at home," he told the official Everton website.
“You have the support of the fans. Sometimes you need to win that support with how you play and how you press. I expect a good reaction after the Chelsea game.
“Swansea are a good team. They like to play football, to play out from the back and I understand that it is difficult when you change managers.
"It can be difficult for the players, with new ideas and new ways of playing a system. The new manager needs time.”

The Toffees made a fantastic start to the campaign but have suffered a couple of poor results recently, including that 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Chelsea. However, they have a great opportunity to put that dismal performance behind them with a home win this afternoon, a result which would inflict more misery on struggling Swansea.
14.30
Meanwhile, Bob Bradley has made no fewer than EIGHT changes to the Swansea side that suffered a home defeat to Manchester United last time out.
There are four changes in defence, Federico Fernandez and Jordi Amat return to the centre, while Wales international Neil Taylor and Kyle Naughton are named as full-backs.
In midfield, Jack Cork captains the side in the absence of Leon Britton - who misses out with a calf injury - while top scorer Leroy Fer is also back
The other change in midfield sees Jay Fulton make his second Premier League appearance of the campaign and his first since the home clash with Liverpool at the beginning of October.
