West Ham meanwhile will not be too disturbed by the result. They were in it for large periods but came up just short against a very good Everton outfit.

Great move by Everton as Gueye is put thorough on goal. Ogbonna steps in front of him and the Everton man falls to the ground after the obstruction. Probably a spot-kick but the ref waves it away.

CLOSE! A sweeping move by Everton sees the ball sent out wide to Cleverley who whips in a lovely cross. Lukaku catches it on the volley but Adrian makes a lovely save.

Antonio is still full of running and drives into the centre of the Everton defence. But he has no options a sends a cross/shot drifting out of play on the right.

Just as I say that Oviedo brings down Antonio to land himself in the book after a manic sprint down the touchline.
