Sterling press Milner, who turns away and runs down the line as though he's attacking his own goal. But he then turns back and escapes, clearing well.

Choking up here.

These new cameras at Anfield are deeply disconcerting for those with a fear of heights. Anyway, Sterling runs at Milner, who upends him; free-kick to City, just right of centre, 25 yards out - Kolarov territory, as it's known. He tames an effort into the wall.

Off we go! For those watching in black and white, City are in baby blue.

City will kick-off and attack the Kop.

The Liverpool players hug one another. Somewhere, naked on a shagpile carpet, Graeme Souness is rubbing his thighs.
17:28
Vincent Kompany is in the away end. Great stuff. This gave me a lot of personal pleasure.

Here they come!
17:27
Jake Humphrey is a great bunch of lads.

Here's a piece from the start of the season, written by some moron, about the challenges facing Jurgen Klopp. He appears to be handling them rather well.

Guardiola's disgust for being asked questions is magnificent.
17:15
I wonder whether Guardiola has been surprised by the Premier League. I know it's not exactly a secret, but the intensity is different to other leagues, and surely he'd have done something more with his defence than buy John Stones.
17:10
This must be a good mustn't it? Twos dies who'll look to attack with lots of good players. One thing I will say is that in the league this season, City have been beaten by Chelsea, Spurs and Leicester; there's a pattern there, and Liverpool would also be grouped with those three as a high-intensity pressing team. I'd definitely have them as favourites to win this, but the best players on display - Aguero, De Bruyne and Silva - all play for City.
17:08
Mane and Lallana must be smacking their chops looking at that City defence. If ever there were a game to back both sides to score, this is it.
17:03
What on earth can he have in this?
16:58
Guardiola, meanwhile, goes for the old 3.5-7.6985-0-.0982 formation. Aguero is back, replacing Nolito, while at the back, Zabaleta is in for Sagna and Kolarov for Clichy, because slow, old players are exactly what you need against Liverpool.
16:57
So, one change for Liverpool, Can in for Origi as Jurgen Klopp pays heed to the attacking prowess of his visitors; presumably Lallaninho will play on the wing, not in the middle·

Bigup Hays, cheers for that. I'll be sure to use you for all my worldwide recruiting experts needs.
