YELLOW CARD: Ramirez is a fortunate man not to be sent off for quite a horrible challenge of Baines. Mike Dean is lenient on this occasion and only produces a yellow.

Guedioura doesn't know whether to shoot or cross and in the end he does neither as he sends the ball miles over the crossbar. A complete waste.

BORO SUB: That proves to be Negredo's last contribution as he is replaced by Rudy Gestede for the final nine minutes.

CLOSE! Negredo is inches away from finding the net as he heads just wide from a lovely Fabio in-swinger.

Difficult weather conditions at the Riverside and it seems to be affecting Lukaku more than anyone else. The Belgian has had only 25 touches this afternoon thus far.

Will either side find a winner in the latter stages of this match? Boro look the more likely with Ramirez and Traore in particular causing Everton problems.

No side has scored more goals in the last 15 minutes than Everton but the Toffees don't look like breaking the deadlock at the moment.

Ramirez drops his shoulder to open space but then overhits a pass for Negredo. More frustration for Boro with 15 minutes to play.

EVERTON SUB: Lookman is replaced by Aaron Lennon.

Somehow the score is still goalless. A thoroughly entertaining game but both sides have been wasteful.

OVER! The space opens up for Guedioura who typically shoots from 25 yards but he can't direct his effort on target.

SAVE! A brilliant reverse pass from Barkley plays through Lookman but the attacker can't find a way past Valdes who saves with his feet.

Really disappointing from Barkley as his attempted cross is blocked by a two-man wall.
