Hello and welcome to Eurosport's live commentary from the Premier League fixture between Southampton and Swansea. This is Nick Royle (@nickaroyle) taking you through all the action from St Mary's.

Referee Mike Jones blows the final whistle, and Southampton move out of the bottom three with this 1-0 win over Swansea City at the St Mary's. That is the first win of the season for Claude Puel's side, and a first Premier League clean sheet in 17 matches.

Austin takes the ball into the corner flag rather than passing to Redmond. Applause from the home fans - and maybe a critique of Redmond's finishing?!

A chorus of "When The Saints Go Marching In". Their first league win of the season is minutes away.

Redmond has legs on Amat but Fabianski is out to field. Seconds later, the former Norwich winger is offside from Davis' pass.

There will be four minutes of additional time at St Mary's. Nervous mumbles from the home fans.

Naughton gets a booking for pulling back Cedric.

Montero tries to run at Southampton down the left flank but Cedric does well to stand up and come clear with the ball.

Sigurdsson has a chance to swing in a corner, but Fonte heads clear and Barrow cannot get onto the second ball.

SAVE: Fer sets up Sigurdsson, who somehow gets his shot on target and forces a save from Forster. New boy Baston was involved in the build-up as well.

The games seems to be petering out now - when you have four strikers, it often means there is no-one in midfield to pass them the ball!

Swansea are playing with four across the frontline. Guidolin going for Championship Manager tactics in the final seven minutes.

The impressive Cork, rather than the deeply disappointing Fer, comes off for Swansea. He gets sympathetic from the home fans towards their former player.

Warm applause for Tadic as he comes off.

Tadic finds Hojbjerg, who wins a corner down the right by the corner flag. Rangel clears Tadic's inswinger at the near post.

Cuco Martina, who was excellent against Sparta Prague in Thursday, is warming up on the touchline.

Rangel plays in Barrow, whose cross is rushed, and Montero is unable to cause any threat with his follow-up cross. But Swansea, at least, are using the two wingers as the outlet ball now.

Swansea fans are chanting for the introduction of £15.5m record signing from Atletico Madrid Borja Baston from the bench.

From the break, Swansea attack through Montero, but Fonte does well to win the ball back from the Swans' flying substitute, who has made a real difference,

Austin feeds Redmond, and his shot finds Tadic, but he ends up passing to Fer rather than one of his own team-mates.

Cork finds Llorente, who feeds Sigurdsson but the Iceland midfielder is off balance as he shoots and cannot hit the target.
