Fabregas latches onto a pass over the top to beat the defence, but he drags a shot wide. Chalobah replaces Willian.

Pickford collects the ball off the toes of Costa, who obviously then has to have a big discussion about whether or not he was fouled. Imagine splitting a bill with him.

Sunderland fans are starting to lose faith in their side tonight, as some leave the stadium. Chalobah will be on for Chelsea soon.

Elsewhere, United are now drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace, and are struggling to find a winner.

Luiz concedes a free kick on Borini, clattering him from behind on the left wing. Borini is swapped for Khazri.

Costa is almost slipped in behind the defence.

Not much goes on now. Chelsea will try to kill the game, and Sunderland have little about them to revive it.

Courtois collects a pass from Love and quickly releases it. Willian comes down the right wing, and he plays it back to Moses. They're happy to play it about the defence now.

Matic comes on for the ineffective Pedro.

Borini is booked for attempting to pull back Kante in that counter-attack.

Januzaj takes a corner from the left, but it's cleared and Chelsea break down the middle with Kante. He finds Willian. It's worked back to Pedro, lurking on the edge of the box, and it's well over.

Kante scuffs a shot along the ground, Kone either takes a slight or no touch on it, and Pickford stops.

Chelsea playing keep-ball in Sunderland's half. Several quick passes find Alonso on the left, and his low shot is stopped by Pickford's save.

Love finds Defoe with his back to goal. A nice first touch, but the second, looping over the defence for Januzaj, is far too strong.
