Good afternoon and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of West Brom and Leicester. The Baggies may not have an awful lot to play for, but last season's champions certainly do. The Foxes are currently six points above the drop zone, having only picked up a single point from their last three games, and another defeat this afternoon could drag them right into the middle of a dog fight at the bottom of the table with only a handful of games to play.

CLOSE! Brilliant movement from Vardy allows him space, he gets to the by-line and fizzes a ball across goal but it's slightly ahead of Okazaki who can't grow enough to apply the finish.

HALF-TIME: West Brom 0-1 Leicester.
45'+1
There's some confusion as West Brom win a corner as the visitors clearly feel it was a goal-kick. Anywho, the ball comes to the near post where Rondon's flicked header goes wide of the target.

Two minutes of added time to play at the end of the first-half.

'Champions of England' is the chant from the travelling supporters who finally have something to shout about today.

GOAL! Vardy puts Leicester ahead!
The England international has been largely anonymous - but he only needs half a chance. Nyom concedes possession in midfield, Okazaki then threads a through ball to the forward who slides the ball into the bottom corner, beyond the reach of Foster.

This game has resembled a training session. There has been little intent on attacking from either side. You sense Leicester would take a point this afternoon and West Brom aren't interested in winning the game either.
38'
Brunt is picked out inside the Leicester box, he does well to take the ball down and have a shot at goal but it's deflected and lands comfortably in the arms of Schmeichel. He had little support there.
37'
Leicester break forward in rapid fashion, they work the ball wide to Mahrez who tries to pick out Albrighton with an early cross but he over-hits it.
35'
Rondon is quite isolated in the West Brom attack - the midfield have done little to support their forward.
33'
Chadli steals the ball from Drinkwater, he has options left and right as he approaches the penalty area, he chooses Morrison on the right but his pass is intercepted.
32'
But West Brom are able to hack the danger clear, and spring an attack on the break. The move peters out though.
31'
Finally, something to talk about. Leicester win a throw-in deep in the West Brom half, and you know what this means. Yes, a Fuchs long throw... which is the equivalent of a corner.
30'
A real end of season feeling at the Hawthorns. The first half-hour has been incredibly dull and void of excitement. Better to come, hopefully.

STAT: Leicester have won five of the last seven league meetings at The Hawthorns, including 3-2 in both previous Premier League encounters.

Rondon takes up a position on the right channel and sends a cross in but there's few team mates in support and Leicester clear easily. The hosts need their big centre forward in the box, not in a wide position.
26'
The space opens up for Chadli who tries a shot from 25 yards but it's comfortable for Schmeichel.

The game has been fiercely competitive but we've had little in the way of goal-mouth opportunities.
