HALF-TIME: West Ham 1-3 Leicester.

Cresswell does well to win a corner for West Ham but his set-piece is played straight into the arms of Schmeichel.

Byram gifts possession to Leicester, the visitors work the ball to Albrighton who cuts inside but then blasts a wild shot into the stands.

Leicester are doing what Leicester do, hurting West Ham on the counter attack. Vardy is played through one-on-one with Obiang but the defender does well to get a foot in but concedes the corner.

West Ham win a free-kick and pack the visitors' penalty area in preparation for the delivery but it's poor from Lanzini this time as he fails to beat the first defender.

CHANCE! Lanzini, full of confidence after his earlier goal, almost grabs a second for West Ham. He is allowed too much space on the edge of the penalty area but his shot is narrowly wide of the post. Schmeichel was struggling to get there.

It was a deadly cross but what was Carroll doing? The big centre forward missed his header and Vardy made no mistake with a poacher's finish.

GOAL! IT'S VARDY! The England striker gets away from his marker in the six-yard area to tap in from Mahrez's corner! It's his eighth goal of the season.

Straight down at the other end and Albrighton wins Leicester a corner.

West Ham continue to enjoy a spell of pressure as they win a free-kick in a wide area. Snodgrass picks out Carroll at the back post but he's under a lot of pressure and can't get a clean connection on the header.

Which makes me wonder, why is Carroll even in an area to cross the ball? He should be on the end of such a delivery.

Obiang bravely wins the ball back for West Ham in midfield before feeding Carroll who picks out Antonio at the back post but his header is off target.

Mahrez does well to get away from Obiang and Snodgrass before trying to cut the ball back to Vardy but Kouyate reads the danger well and makes the interception.

CLOSE! Byram doesn't get tight enough to Albrighton and the winger is allowed to cross, almost finding Okazaki at the near post but Randolph does well to gather the ball.

Fonte's long ball causes the Foxes some problems but they're saved by the linesman's flag. Carroll hammers the ball into an empty net some time after the whistle had went and that's just silly.

Antonio gathers on the channel and is allowed to cut in but his right footed shot is straight at Schmeichel. Much better from West Ham.

Leicester have a corner but Albrighton's corner fails to beat the first man, he is allowed a second attempt and it's not much better as West Ham clear.

West Ham are looking much more confident and they go close to finding an equaliser on the break as Ayew fires just wide. It was good defending from Huth who did just enough to put him off.

GOAL! Lanzini punishes Leicester as he smashes in the free-kick. Schmeichel didn't stand a chance! West Ham haven't been in the game at all but now it's game on.
