Wenger's long goodbye as Arsenal manager starts with a win. The Gunners were made to work for it, and 4-1 is perhaps slightly harsh on West Ham given how well they played at times, but in the end it was the perfect warm up for next week's crucial Europa League semi final against Atletico Madrid.

West Ham look really deflated after that goal. Arsenal are in control of possession and are probing for a third goal that would surely end this match as any kind of contest.

That's a harsh lesson for such a young player. Rice should have just made the header clear. Instead, he made the crazy decision to try and leave it to his goalkeeper. Oh dear.

Ramsey plays a cross into the box, but Rice ducks, expecting Hart to make the simple save. However, the ball bounces into the far corner of the net.

Hart has kept his side level these past few minutes. The West Ham goalkeeper has come in for some criticism in recent weeks, but he has just pulled off a couple of great saves.

ANOTHER HART SAVE! That was heading for the far corner of the net. Welbeck curls a right footed shot towards the West Ham goal, but Hart gets his fingertips to it. What a great stop!

Xhaka has had a good game this afternoon. The Swiss midfielder is the one pulling the strings on the edge of the opposition box, but no way through for him so far. Hammers holding strong.

There's an anxiety building inside the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal are on top at the moment, but they are struggling to create anything in the final third. West Ham defending well.

Arsenal look to have weathered the storm and are once again applying the pressure on West Ham for this second goal. At the moment, the Hammers are spoiling Wenger's party.
