Hello there and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of Brighton and Hove Albion versus Liverpool in the Premier League. Let's start with some team news, shall we?

Liverpool win a free-kick, around 30 yards out. They take it quickly and Coutinho only has one thing on his mind. But his toe-poked effort is comfortably saved by Ryan.

Brighton haven't kept the ball well enough in this first half and you can't afford to be so sloppy in possession when a team like Liverpool comes to town.

All rather scrappy at the moment. It seems Liverpool are satisfied to take their two-goal lead into the break and Brighton are offering little in terms of attacking football.

Brighton were reluctant to commit bodies forward when the scores were level, but now they are two goals down Hughton has no choice other than to throw caution to the wind. We all know how dangerous Liverpool are on the counter, though.

Salah finally finds some space in the centre of the park and he plays a perfectly weighted pass to Coutinho on the left. The Brazilian's first-time drilled ball picks out Firmino who slides the ball into an empty net.

The Reds haven't been at their fluent best, but they take the lead via a set-piece.

Coutinho's corner is delivered to the penalty spot where Can rises highest and powers a header into the roof of the net.

A lovely team move from Brighton ends with Gross delivering a cross, but Lovren does well to intercept.

It was the kind of ball which Murray thrives on, but he wasn't able to find any space in the Liverpool box.

Salah, Liverpool's top-scorer, and the Premier League's, has been extremely quiet so far. In fact, so have Coutinho and Firmino.

Bruno is incensed at the referee's decision not to award Brighton a corner. Instead, Liverpool have a goal-kick.

Only Manchester City have been able to win at the Amex this season, but Hughton's side have drawn all of their previous four home games - and each of the teams are below them in the league.

Coutinho drops deep to collect possession and picks out Alexander-Arnold with a lovely pass on the right. However, the youngster can only direct his cross into the home supporters, much to their delight.

Milner gets to the by-line and cuts the ball back cleverly to Salah. However, his touch evades him. The loose ball falls to Robinson but his cross to the back post is dealt with by the Brighton defence.

Brighton have some defending to do now as Milner's cross is floated into the penalty box but Dunk rises highest to clear.

Brown collects on the left channel and does brilliantly to pick out Murray inside the six-yard box. He unloads, but his shot is sliced well wide.

That is the closest Brighton have come.

Robinson is still trying to adjust to playing as a left winger and he overruns the ball as it goes out for a Brighton goal-kick.

This match has been played like a training session so far: attack versus defence.
