Hello and welcome to our LIVE minute-by-minute coverage of Brighton Hove Albion and Manchester City's Premier League clash from the Amex Stadium.

FULL-TIME: Two goals in the final twenty minutes sees Manchester City earn a hard-fought victory over newly-promoted Brighton and Hove Albion to kick-off their Premier League campaign.

Sergio Aguero broke the deadlock on 70 minutes and shortly after Lewis Dunk then turned the ball into his own net.

We're into the first of three additional minutes at the end of the match. Brighton fans are making a wonderful noise - fair play.

BT Sports have awarded Kyle Walker the man of the match accolade. A fair assessment, eh Spurs fans?

A productive day for Pep Guardiola and his team then. They haven't been entirely convincing, but at least have avoided a shock defeat on the opening weekend, unlike title rivals Chelsea who lost to Burnley earlier.

Sergio Aguero has now scored six goals in seven opening-day matches for Manchester City.

Bernardo Silva makes his way onto the pitch for his Premier League debut. He takes the place of Aguero.

Sterling's first meaningful contribution sees him receive a yellow card as he fouls Murphy.

Ten minutes to play - can Brighton score to make it interesting?

Raheem Sterling takes the place of Jesus for the final 13 minutes or so.

Third and final change for the visitors - Anthony Knockaert replaces March.

Under pressure from Jesus, Dunk heads the ball into his own net, after Fernandinho delivered a delicious cross. Game over, surely.

City are hungrier for more as Walker is fouled on the flank. However, De Bruyne's delivery from the subsequent free-kick is poor.

City deserve their lead - but it's so, so cruel on Brighton. They had defended so well, but one mistake at this level is always likely to be punished.

The break-through finally comes for the visitors - and it's Sergio Aguero on the score-sheet. He's played through by David Silva - after Stephens conceded possession - and makes no mistake as he slides the ball coolly past Ryan.

Here it is: Leroy Sane takes the place of Danilo.

De Bruyne sees his shot deflected out for a corner, and it may have even struck the arm of a Brighton defender. The resulting corner comes to little. City are STILL looking for the breakthrough and they haven't really troubled the hosts for over 10 minutes now.

And they're making PLENTY of noise...

And STILL no change from Man City. Sterling and Sane are also options for Pep Guardiola.
