Good work from Murray as he fights and wins the ball back around the half-way line. Izquierdo counters and comes inside to fire a shot into the chest of Van Dijk. The Dutchman is floored and has a wry smile as he gets to his feet. The corner is cleared.

First real involvement for Gabbiadini as Bertrand's cross in from the left is deflected into his path. He's trying to clip it round the corner but it's put over by the defender.

Southampton have gone a little flat. And Tadic's pass to Cedric goes straight out of play.

More good football from Brighton and Gross sends in another teasing ball, this time from the left.

A Brighton move breaks down when Murray's pass to Knockaert goes out. He looks absolutely furious and it's hard to know if it's with himself or with Murray.

Another dangerous ball from Gross and Murray hooks it over. Brighton on the offensive now.

Right which way is this one going to go? Southampton started the half better but now they've conceded the momentum is with Brighton.

Oh that's not great from Forster. Looping ball over from the right and Murray heads it towards goal. Forster is slow to react and he can't keep it out.

Another good delivery headed away and Boufal wins another corner as his volley is deflected wide. The second corner comes to nothing.
