FULL TIME! Boos ring out. They should be for Cahill if they are for anyone, but the crowd is probably targeting the ref after two red cards. There can be no argument with either of them (though there will be), and Chelsea have had an awfu but full-blooded start to the defence of their title. Burnley have shown yet again they can handle themselves against the biggest sides in the league.

- OffAndreas ChristensenChelsea
- OnCharly MusondaChelsea
Musonda on for Chelsea.
Burnley are trying to waste time in the corner, but Chelsea fly forward with an attempted counter. Four minutes to go.
- Yellow cardAntonio RüdigerChelsea
Now Ruidiger is booked, bundling over Walters on the edge of the box.
- GoalDavid LuizChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 2-3 Burnley. Luiz scores - A long ball forward from Azpilicueta, Morata knocks it on for Luiz into the box, and he lashes it past Heaton.
Alonso hurls himself to the ground, claiming he's been pushed over by Brady. It's a bit rich. Corner for Chelsea, and it's out for another one on the right, opposite side of the pitch.
Apparently no side except United have won the Premier League after losing their first match.
Morata reacts quickly to some ping pong outside the box, and he sends a shot at goal that makes Heaton dive to his left to stop.
Jose Mourinho might be enjoying a second frosty one.
- Red cardCesc FàbregasChelsea
RED CARD! Well, I believe the kids say 'LOL'. Fabregas is off, for a second yellow card. The Chelsea man is refusing to leave the pitch. It was a late tackle on Cork with his studs up.
10 minutes left for Chelsea to score at least three.
- Yellow cardDavid LuizChelsea
David Luiz is booked for John Terry levels of dissent.
- Yellow cardScott ArfieldBurnley
Alonso is writhing around, clutching his face on the ground. He was caught late by Arfield, but he caught Alonso on the leg. He's booked. Chelsea's free kick on the right is cleared on the first attempt, and on the second attempt Chelsea concede an offside.
- OffSteven DefourBurnley
- OnJonathan WaltersBurnley
Walters and Arfield are on for Burnley. Gudmundsson off.
GOAL! NO! Morata touches Christensen's shot over the line, and he's offside. If he'd left it alone, it would be 3-2.
Willian scoops an excellent pass into the edge of the box for Azpilicueta, and his first-time cross is deflected to Heaton.
Heaton has a free kick near the halfway line. He sends it long, but Burnley quickly lose it.
- GoalÁlvaro MorataChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 1-3 Burnley. Morata scores - Luiz makes space to whip in a dangerous cross into the six yard box and Morata is alert, sprinting towards it to send a diving header past Heaton.
Willian sends in a corner from the right, it's low, and Kante can't get a proper shot away before he's closed down.
Gudmundsson hoiks a pass to the back post for Brady, and closing in, he aims a header at the near post, but it's a few yards wide in the end.
Luiz tries an acrobatic volley at goal from Fabregas's free kick. Again, I say at goal.
Mee scythes into Morata in the corner. He goes through the man, gets the ball, and a booking. Such a tedious, tiresome type of tackle that adds nothing to football.
Alonso strikes an superb free kick, over the wall and towards the top corner, and Heaton tips it away for a corner.
Brady come in late and behind to barge over Willian on a run towards goal, and is booked.
Morata's first action is to blast a shot at goal from distance. I say at goal, I mean miles over. The Chelsea fans give him a warm welcome despite that.
- OffMichy BatshuayiChelsea
- OnÁlvaro MorataChelsea
Batshuayi is off, Morata is on for his debut.
Vokes gets to Brady's inswining corner, and he glances a header a few yards wide of the back post.
Burnley win a free kick 40 yards out. It earns a corner on the right when Alonso puts it behind.
Alonso's cross is blocked, and the ref isn't interested in the penalty appeals from the crowd. The ball eventually comes to Batshuayi on the edge of the box, and his shot dribbles to Heaton.
Burnley are in control, playing the ball in defence and midfield, from right to left. They can do this for as long as Chelsea allow them. But Chelsea steal the ball and break with Alonso. He squeezes a ball at goal, and Heaton's mistake concedes a corner.
Alonso has room for a shot from 30 yards out, and his rifled shot is tipped over the bar for a corner by Heaton.
Burnley must win this from here. 10 men vs 11, and with the experience of hitting big teams on the break - this is not too much for them to take on.
Jose Mourinho may be enjoying a frosty one right now.
- 2nd Half
We go again.
- End of 1st Half
That's half time, see you in fifteen minutes.
Vokes can't flick on Brady's flash across the box, but he would probably have been ruled offside had he done so.
Batshuayi goes down on the edge of the box, claiming an elbow. The ref gives nothing - and Tarkowski (I think) is a touch lucky. Chelsea then give away a foul on the halfway line, doubling their annoyance.
There will be three minutes of added time.
Kante tries to curl one into the top corner, but it's takes deflection and clears the bar. From the corner, Kante tries the same but it's blocked, and Rudiger commits a foul.
- GoalSam VokesBurnley
GOAL! Chelsea 0-3 Burnley. Vokes scores - A deep cross to the back post finds Vokes, unmarked, and he nods it into the back post. A simple goal.
Luiz lets fly from distance, and his shot goes just over the bar.
- GoalStephen WardBurnley
GOAL! Chelsea 0-2 Burnley. Ward scores - The full-back plays a neat one-two and from the inside left, he slams in a shot past Courtois.
Chelsea are seeing plenty of the ball, but they're not doing much with it so far.
Corner on the right for Burnley. The short pass is intercepted and cleared.
Chelsea press Burnley, who might now do nothing but hit their opponents on the break. Alonso has room for a cross, but it's deflected and the danger passes.
- GoalSam VokesBurnley
GOAL! Chelsea 0-1 Burnley. Vokes scores - A cross is whipped in from the right by Lowton, and Vokes reaches behind himself to hook a shot towards goal, that's scuffed low, into the far corner and past Courtois.
Burley concede a throw on the right wing, near the halfway line.
Little of note as Chelsea regain their composure, and Burnley calibrate just how much they want to get from this match.
- OffJeremie BogaChelsea
- OnAndreas ChristensenChelsea
Boga's debut ends as Christensen comes on.
Christensen is being readied on the touchlines. Chelsea are under pressure, and there's a mix-up between Luiz and Courtois as they dither over a ball.
- Yellow cardCesc FàbregasChelsea
Fabregas is booked for dissent. The Chelsea season begins!
Cahill brought the ball out from the back, and as the ball ran away from him he went through Defour with a poor challenge.
- Red cardGary CahillChelsea
RED CARD! Cahill is sent off.
Ruidger looks for his first Chelsea goal, but his shot from distance is blocked.
Fabregas releases Azpilicueta and the defender's cross goes behind.
Rudiger sends a long ball towards Alonso, but Lowton is on hand to head it back to Heaton.

Sean Dyche has Had His Say: "You could probably say there’s 10 clubs whose main focus is being in the Premier League. As the season progresses there’s ups and downs and ins and out behind that, so we look at the whole season. You can’t just think it’s about playing Chelsea, our first five or six away games are tough on paper. You have to take them all on at some point. There’s an obvious run of tough games coming at the beginning of the season, that’s the way it is, you just get on with it."
Conte on young players: "This question is not easy. When you speak about pressure with me and I am used to the pressure. For the young players it’s difficult because they are not used to it. They can pay from the pressure."
It's business as usual for Burnley. Andre Gray has found himself at Watford, and Jon Walters is on the bench. He is a truly excellent player at being irritating.
Chelsea start with a sarcastic subs' bench. Only Willy Caballero and Alvaro Morata can consider themselves senior members of the first team squad. Jeremie Boga starts in attack for Chelsea, as Antonio Conte makes a point about wanting more players.
TEAMS: Chelsea: Courtois, Rudiger, Luiz, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso, Willian, Batshuayi, Boga.
