Sterling dribbles his way into the Leicester box but instead of shooting, opts to set up Silva for a shot. The Spaniard takes it first time, but balloons his effort over the bar.

The ball finds its way to Sterling from the corner, his first touch is good, off the chest, but his shot is poor as it sails over Schmeichel's bar.

Sane's cross takes a deflection off Simpson and City win another corner. It all stemmed from Vardy conceding possession in midfield.

City have won all five of their Premier League games on the road, but they're going to have to remain patient this afternoon - with 10 minutes until half-time, Schmeichel has only had to make one save.

Leicester launch a dangerous attack on the counter, but only win a corner. Managala rises highest at the near post to clear from the set-piece though. There were half-hearted appeals from the stands for a handball from the home supporters who spotted something I didn't.

Silva picks out De Bruyne with a clever first-time pass. The Belgian drives forward with defenders retreating, but his cross appears to strike the arm of Maguire inside the Leicester box. Shouts for a penalty are waved away by referee Graham Scott, though.

Stones limps off the pitch to be replaced by Eliaquim Managala.

John Stones goes down holding his hamstring and the Man City defender is in some pain. This is a huge blow for the young England defender and Pep - he will likely be out for some time with this injury.

Maguire rises highest from the free-kick, but the Leicester defender's knock-on goes out of play.

Silva gets a ticking off for catching Iborra with a flailing arm.

Down at the other end and Albrighton desperately tries to keep Mahrez's pass in play but despite his best efforts he is unable to do so.

Sane has two players to pick out in the middle, but he gets too much pace on his cross and the ball just evades Sterling at the back post. All it needed was a touch!

Leicester boss Claude Puel will be pleased that his side prevented Man City from producing a shot at goal until the 20th minute.

Sane is released on the channel and he picks out Silva who makes a late run into the box. The Spaniard stabs an effort at goal, but Schmeichel tips it over the bar.

Leicester lose the ball and City launch a break with lightening pace. De Bruyne surges forward and tries to pick out Sane with a low cross but it ends up in the arms of Schmeichel.

End to end stuff here at the moment. Now Sane is fed on the edge of the penalty area, but he doesn't get his angles right and his cross goes out of play.

Mahrez bursts into the penalty area and drills a low cross into the six-yard box but Kompany does well to intervene, even if he nearly sends it into his own net!

City work the ball out from the back, with Sane eventually released on the channel. The wideman fizzes a dangerous ball across the face of goal, but he can't pick out any of his team mates and Schmeichel allows it to roll out for a goal-kick.

Leicester have every player bar Vardy parked inside their own half at the moment. The English international will have his work cut out today but his pace on the break can pose problems for any side.
