Salah sees a shot blocked. Corner to the Reds... Calvert-Lewin with a poor touch in his own area, but no Liverpool player can make him pay.

Gomez powers towards a loose ball on the far right and goes down under a clumsy challenge from Niasse close to the penalty area. No free kick! Let off for the Blues.

A big let off for Rooney. He fails to fully follow Robertson's run to the left byline. The full back looks to cut it back, but sees his cross deflect away from the red shirts in the middle.

Salah dances beyond Martina and feeds Milner who sees a well-struck volley blocked.

Mane spins into space on the left of the area but slips as he fakes the shot and the chance goes begging.

Super play on the left by Robertson. He lays it inside to Milner who can't find Solanke. Everton look to break but Rooney's pass can't pick out Niasse.

Salah cuts in from the right but sees his floated cross towards Mane plucked out of the air by Pickford.

Solanke chases a clever pass into the right channel, but Pickford races out to beat the Liverpool striker to it.

Liverpool bossing possession. It's worked wide to Robertson who sees his first-time cross deflect straight to Pickford.

Liverpool have been defeated in just three of the last 35 meetings in the Premier League. All of those losses have been at Goodison Park. Indeed, the Reds and are unbeaten in the last 13 encounters.

Williams with a shaky moment. Solanke almost bursts through, but the Blues do just enough to fend off the home side's surge. It's eventually worked to Henderson who blazes over the crossbar.

A bit of a false start as the Blues are forced to re-take the kick off! Everton go long immediately, but Robertson is alert enough to shepherd it back to Mignolet.
