Adrian is taking his sweet time taking a goal kick. Perhaps Pep will run on and scream at him at the end of the match?

With 10 minutes to go, let me look at the league table. Right, I've looked at the league table and it appears if my maths are right that Man City can go eight points clear if they can beat West Ham today.

This seems to be all anyone is discussing today.

City have Mangala for his first league start under Pep Guardiola. He has been, in truth, awful for most of his City games, but he won't have been a bad player when he arrived. Give him a chance after his time away on loan, and perhaps there is a player there.
15:30
Pep Guardiola should be watching this from the stands, if the rules of football are to be enforced consistently. But, let's be honest. One, running onto the pitch after the whistle to yell encouragement at another player isn't exactly the right thing to do, and it smacks of hubris, but it doesn't deserve a ban, if we consider it away from what the rules are. And, if we consider whether the FA and Premier League ever use consistency? No, they never do, but there you go.

Poor David. West Ham manager David Moyes has to do without Joe Hart - on loan from Manchester City, Steven Reid (crocked), and drops Marko Arnautovic to the bench after he left their last game injured. He comes up againsts perhaps the best team and manager in the world right now.
