Sanchez does brilliantly to shrug the challenge of Yedlin off at the by-line before he cuts it back for Lukaku. The Belgian tries a first-time effort but snatches at the shot and slices it well wide.
16'
Smalling's pass is astray and Ritchie can nip in to steal possession but nothing comes of Newcastle's attack. Something doesn't quite seem right with Man United.
15'
Sanchez and Martial link up well, with the latter breaking into the penalty box on the left-side. He has an opportunity to shoot but instead tries to cut the ball back for Lukaku. However, his pass is hacked clear.

Mourinho will be keeping a very close eye on the French international for the next while.

Pogba also isn't moving well but he gives a thumbs-up to Mourinho to indicate he is fine to continue.
12'
Sanchez has barely touched the ball and now he is limping, grimacing in pain.

Newcastle work the ball wide to Yedlin who delivers a good cross towards the back post but Smalling rises highest and clears his lines.

Newcastle have only one six games all season - and they have all been against teams in the bottom half of the division - but Benitez will be pleased with the attacking intent his side have shown in the early stages of this contest.

SAVE!
Kenedy's initial free-kick is blocked by the wall but the loose ball falls kindly into the path of Shelvey. He connects sweetly, forcing De Gea into a good stop as he parries the shot wide.

Smalling uses his hand to intercept a pass and the referee spots it. And now Newcastle have a free-kick in a dangerous area, just outside the penalty area.

He is looking a little dazed but Martial returns to the field and looks set to continue.

Something to keep your eye on...
Pogba seemed to pull up while participating in his warm up and has gone down the tunnel.
Not what you want to hear 10 minutes before kick-off, if you are a Man United supporter.
14:00
Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness has been having a bit of a rant about Pogba...
"He has super individual ability, much to admire about his technique when he is on the ball, what he doesn’t have for me, and it’s a position I played in, when you think how much time you play and how much time you don’t have on the ball.
"I would want to be playing against him because he is never where he should be when I have the ball.
"The criticism I have is that he doesn’t understand the role when he doesn’t have the ball."
13:55
Mourinho names the same starting XI who featured from the off in that woeful defeat to Tottenham at Wembley 10 days ago... so, this is an opportunity for the players to prove a point to their manager - will they take it?
