So close for Southampton. Romeu gets onto the end of Gabbiadini's through ball slips the ball past De Gea, and just wide of the post.

Lukaku almost sets Fellaini free behind the defence, but Cedric races acros to cover.

Smalling is on for United now, and there's a break in play as Fellaini is fouled by Tadic.

De Gea plucks out a cross from Tadic, and then his clearance flies out. Gabbiadini comes on.

Southampton are camped in United's half. With 20 minutes or so left, an equaliser would not be any kind of surprise.
