Not to do with this game, but news nonetheless. Annoying news.

The away support immediately show their support for their manager, with whom they are on first-name terms. It sounds pathetic.

Away we go!

Watford players huddle and Javi Gracia crosses himself. That'll sort it.

Sky reckon they know better than Watford's Twitter, telling us the home side are playing 3-4-1-2. Deulofeu is indeed behind the strikers, who are Richarlison and Deeney.

Out come the players...

Yes, Patrick Vieira would never shrink in the tunnel.

Harry Kane is a top player and a sound bloke, but a lap of honour, a speech and a presentation? Not for me, Clive.
19:47
Antonio Conte doesn't think his unclear future will affect his players. David Luiz "has to play and show that he deserves to play".
Javi Gracia thinks it's always difficult to play teams like Chelsea.
More news as I get it.

As for Watford, they're not safe from relegation or anything like it, just seven points off the bottom and three off the bottom three. In theory, they have the players to survive comfortably, but lack of regular scorer worries me.
19:39
Wayne Rooney is on Sky at the moment talking about penalties. It's mad that he's still a taker of them, given how many he's missed.
19:38
So what does a good season look like for Chelsea from here? Will they be satisfied with making the top four? It's hard to see them winning the Champions League with this team - or even getting past Barcelona in the next round - but they should be good for a proper go at the Cup.

Born ready.

Bright in training!

The most noteworthy aspect of Chelsea's side is David Luiz's first start since October. He was the best defender in the league last season, I'd say, but has had to wait for an injury to Andreas Christensen to get into the team. He'll be keen to see the back of Antonio Conte, I shouldn't wonder.
Otherwise, Willian is in for Barkley, Moses for Alonso, and Palmieri and Giroud are on the bench.

Looking more carefully at this Chelsea team, then..

He's on the right today - I wonder if that's where he's best. My feeling is that he should be a number 10, but if you don't offer lots of goals and assists, nor a shift in every game, you need to be out wide. See Mkhitaryan, H.
