Alonso finds Fabreags near the byeline with a wonderful through-ball. He cuts it back to try and find Pedro, but it's intercepted.

Chelsea patiently build up play on the edge of the area and Zappacosta delivers a cross for Morata. It's cleared and falls for Pedro, who shoots wide.

With that substitution, Conte appears to acknowledge that Chelsea need 33% more attacking thrust and 50% fewer holding midfielders.

Noble tries to find a teammate but Cahill clears as far as Arnautovic, whose shot does not trouble Courtois.

Masuaku puts a cross in from the left and wins a corner. The home side are, understandably, in no rush to take it.

Antonio chases down a ball forward and Courtois is forced to come out and clear. He makes a mess of it and clears for a corner, instead of a throw.

Cahill puts in a cross from the left but it's aimless and goes out for a goal kick. West Ham are sitting very deep at the moment, inviting the Chelsea pressure.

Masuaku takes the ball off of Zappacosta's toe and has a shot from distance, which trickles wide. The Italian had no idea the ball was about to be taken from him in a dangerous area.

Morata blasts a loose ball over the bar. Chelsea are definitely enjoying more possession, but West Ham are nullifying everything they do in the final third.

Zappacosta sends in a cross from the right but Morata heads wide after out-jumping Ogbonna. The Spaniard should have done better there.

Hazard and Bakayoko exchange some lovely passes on the edge of the area but Cresswell steps up to intercept. Cresswell has been excellent so far.
