United also have two games left to play and sit in second place on the table, but they’re now guaranteed a top four finish with fifth place Chelsea seven points behind them. Also through to next year’s Champions League are Man City – a mere 20 points above United as the table currently stands – and Tottenham, three points behind. Liverpool and Chelsea battle it out on Sunday for the final spot.
