Emery sends his side out for the final time at home as he comes towards the end of what he hopes is the first of many seasons at Arsenal. He said: “Each match for me is special when we are playing at home with our supporters. I want to enjoy things with our supporters and our players, enjoy winning as part of a long career here and be a coach who enjoys the Arsenal stadium for a long time.”

Brighton boss Chris Hughton has given his reaction to Cardiff's defeat to Crystal Palace last night. The result means Brighton are safe. He told the Seagulls' media team: “We have achieved our main objective for the season, which was to retain our Premier League status. Now the challenge is to finish the season on a high, and produce the level of performance we know we can against Arsenal and Manchester City. While the last month or so has been tough, this group of players delivered what was required across the season and when it mattered, with that vital point away at Wolves and another at home to Newcastle last week."

Sokratis has been telling Arsenal's official website what they need to do to realise their ambitions in the final furlong of the season. He said: "I think that the biggest point is that we have to stay focused.... Of course we have to improve and we have every game to give 100 per cent and I think the critics are good to hear, to improve, but they do not touch us mentally."

AS IT STANDS: Fifth-place Arsenal will start this four points adrift of Spurs in fourth, after Chelsea beat Watford to go third. Man United's surprise draw at Huddersfield means they are out of the running for the Champions League spots.
Can Emery's men ensure a now three-way battle for the top four goes to the wire? Realistically, only a win will do for the Gunners.

Unai Emery has made five changes to the Arsenal side that beat Valencia 3-1 in Europe on Thursday. Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Nacho Monreal, Lucas Torreira and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all come into the starting XI.
