Almost a goal on his debut for Mahrez! He finds himself in a one-vs-one situation with Lichsteiner, he drops the shoulder and flashes a low shot which goes agonisingly wide of the right-hand post.

It's supposed to be a new era for Arsenal but the same old problems are still evident; a vulnerable defence not helped by the lack of ideas in attack.

Arsenal launch a counter-attack with Ramsey leading the charge after the Welshman nicked the ball from Fernandinho in midfield. He sends Ozil racing forward, who in turn feeds Mkhitaryan but he doesn't have the confidence to go it alone and turns into trouble, losing possession.

This is a concern for Arsenal as Maitland-Niles, who is filling in at left-back, limps off the pitch. We could yet see Welbeck filling the void.
