Liverpool look to have regained control of this match after the positive start to the second half by Burnley. They have plenty forward, including Van Dijk for that last attack!

Excellent from Salah! Great dribbling from the Liverpool number 11 as he bursts into the Burnley box. There were players in white shirts all around him, but Taylor makes the tackle.

Wide of the far post! Liverpool come flying forward, with Mane threading in Firmino. I think the Brazilian was looking for Salah at the back post, but he sliced the delivery and it flashes wide of the far post.

Salah with the curler! How many times have we seen the Egyptian score from there? This time, Salah gets his angles wrong and curls an effort over the Burnley crossbar from 20 yards.

Eased off the ball! The pass was played down the channel for Barnes to chase. However, Van Dijk came across and just eased the Burnley striker off the ball. Good defending.

This is much better from Burnley. These are encouraging signs for the away side at the start of the second half. They are looking to get the ball down the ground more frequently.

Lallana has played well so far. The attacking midfielder has been written off by many Liverpool fans, but he has brought some much-needed creativity to the Reds' frontline today,

Burnley have started the second half strongly. They may have scored the opener, but they were poor in the first half. Dyche surely wants to see more creativity from his team now.

HALF TIME: Liverpool 2-1 Burnley. The game was sparked into life by that controversial opener for the away side, but Klopp's side have responded well, with goals from Firmino and Mane turning things around.

Van Dik is such a calming influence at the back for Liverpool. Against Wood and Barnes, two, big, physical frontmen, the Dutchman has barely been troubled. So composed on and off the ball.

Dyche needs to come up with a new game plan at half time. Burnley may have scored the opening goal, but that has not been an accurate reflection of the way they have played so far.

It seems that Dyche has spent the whole first half moaning at the fourth official down on the touchline. What is he complaining about? Burnley have had more than their fair share of luck!

I know I have spoken a lot about the weather in this first half, but the conditions at Anfield are atrocious right now. It's difficult for either side to create much when the wind and snow is like this.
