FOUL! David Silva stops Maddison in his tracks and an experienced player you wouldn't expect to be walking a tightrope may be one more foul away from receving a second yellow. He has to be careful.

The City fans are now singing "Who's the Scouser in the black?" Leicester have provided the perfect opposition so far though as Bernardo Silva's attempted pass for Sterling is over-hit.
Brendan Rodgers will be delighted with how his side have approached this game.

TACKLE! Evans slides across to make a firm challenge on Sterling. The City fans, knowing Dean's background, are increasingly incensed with the official, but it's a fine tackle.

BOOKED! Maddison plays the ball brilliantly into Tielemans, who takes it on the half-turn before being brought down by David Silva. It's a regulation yellow card to add to City's early frustrations.

Aguero is unable to hold the ball up for his side as Ricardo wins it.
Leicester are probing down the left with the marauding full-back following the dinked pass by Albrighton but he is just unable to keep it in before Kompany deals with the cross.
NO PENALTY! Aguero hasn't been mentioned yet but a lovely ball releases Sterling here down the right. He tries to cut inside Evans, and there are shouts for handball, but Dean is unmoved!

OVER! Foden is the latest player to sky his shot after a total miss-hit from Sterling from Gundogan's corner. You can sense City's nerves. Sterling really ought to have just brough that ball down.

Leicester collected a point at Anfield earlier this season, and they've made a very confident start tonight.
OVER! Walker goes for a big blast from a long way out, which is precisely what Jurgen Klopp will like to see.
There's an over-eagerness about the City fans to, and that may transmit itself to the players, who have to stay patient.

SAVE! Foden feels he should have a free-kick but Ndidi has done well to win back possession. Vardy is onto it in a flash and you think he may go on a run but instead he sets up Tielemans, and his shot from 25 yards is straight at Ederson.
Ricardo is late on Zinchenko moments later to give City a free-kick in a promising position...

BEEP! Mike Dean gives Leicester another free-kick but this time Vincent Kompany is all over Tielemans high up the pitch. What was that Solskjaer was saying about tactical fouls?

SAVE! Patient build-up by City as Walker comes across the pitch from right to left unopposed before finding the drifting Foden, who chests the ball down and gets his left-foot shot away but it's straight down the throat of Schmeichel.

BLOCK! Zinchenko is having a good run at left back in this City side but he's made a nervy start as Albrighton nearly makes progress down the right before it's a really important block from Kompany to deny Ricardo!
The City crowd respond to their side's nervous start by getting behind their team - they know now if they didn't before that they're in for a game tonight.

It's clear that Choudhury and Ndidi are going to provide a really deep protective shield for the Foxes here as a poor headed clearance by Evans is picked up by David Silva before Tielemans does well to track back and force a foul from Aguero.

Leicester are passing it well in these early exchanges as Ben Chilwell gets down the left and his early low cross to blocked by Vincent Kompany.

FOUL! Good hold-up play by Jamie Vardy allows Maddison to be released and he is stopped in his tracks on the break by Zinchenko, who is somewhat fortunate to escape an early caution.

CAN A FORMER REDS BOSS DECIDE THE TITLE?
Remarkably, City and Liverpool have scored 177 times between them in the Premier League this season – that's over 17 per cent of the total goals scored, and they also account for 19 per cent of the overall points won (186 combined).
The pair have conceded just 44 goals – a miserly 5 per cent the league’s overall figure - but Leicester have only failed to score in one away Premier League game.
Rodgers would love nothing more than to do his former club a favour, to help them land the trophy he failed to lift himself during the 2013/14 season.

15 MINUTES TO KICK OFF!
It is the first time in Premier League history that two teams have reached 90 points, but this is a title race that looks set to be decided by the very finest of margins.
In January, Liverpool were just 11.2 millimetres from taking the lead against City, a match they went onto lose, while last time out, Sergio Aguero’s strike against Burnley crossed the line by just 29.5 millimetres.
