A win for Newcastle could take them as high as Crystal Palace, but they would need to absolutely hammer Wolves to make up the goal difference that would move them into 13th.
19:45
A win for Wolves would keep them in seventh, because they are 12 points off both Arsenal and Chelsea above them. If they draw or lose: seventh.

Almiron only makes the bench for Newcastle. Antonio Barreca, who also joined the club this January - though only on loan from Monaco - doesn't make the squad.

Elsewhere, the biggest news of the day. In the Premier League.

And Wolves' manager Nuno Espirito Santo said: "The table can only create distractions and we avoid that. We stay focused on our day and routines day-to-day."

Newcastle United are without Jonjo Shelvey and Rob Elliot - remember him? - otherwise everyone is fit. Before the game, Rafael Benitez discussed Wolves, saying: "They have a good manager and some very good players - they have players who have been champions of Europe and internationals at every level. They may be newly-promoted but they have spent more than £100 million. They are a good team who are doing really well."

The most interesting thing tonight is that Newcastle United's record signing could start against Wolves tonight. Miguel Almiron arrives from MLS - or as it is officially known, the MLS - with a reputation as the best player in recent years there. He is the current MVP (most voted for person) and at 24 has what are likely his best years ahead of him. The Paraguayan international could be the first player of quality at the club since Vernon Anita. Wait.
