The restart will kick off with Aston Villa vs Sheffield United and Manchester City vs Arsenal, which were both postponed due to the Carabao Cup final. The completion of those two games will leave every team with nine matches left to play.
There will then be a full round of matches starting on Friday, June 19.
All matches will take place behind closed doors but will be available for supporters to watch on television.
Games will take place across the weekend, with kick-off times at 8pm on Friday, 12.30pm, 3pm, 5.30pm and 8pm on Saturday, midday, 2pm, 4.30pm and 7pm on Sunday, 8pm on Monday and 6pm and 8pm for midweek matches on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The BBC have confirmed they will broadcast four live games - the first time Premier League games will have been shown live by the BBC - while Sky Sports will make 25 of the remaining top-flight matches free to air.
Premier League chief executive Richard Masters said: "Today we have provisionally agreed to resume the Premier League on Wednesday 17 June. But this date cannot be confirmed until we have met all the safety requirements needed, as the health and welfare of all participants and supporters is our priority.
"Sadly, matches will have to take place without fans in stadiums, so we are pleased to have come up with a positive solution for supporters to be able to watch all the remaining 92 matches.

"The Premier League and our clubs are proud to have incredibly passionate and loyal supporters. It is important to ensure as many people as possible can watch the matches at home. We will continue to work step-by-step and in consultation with all our stakeholders as we move towards resuming the 2019/20 season."
The announcement comes a few days after contact training was given the green light, with clubs discussing in a meeting on Thursday how the league can restart following its suspension in March due to coronavirus.
The meeting covered a range of subjects, including the fixture list and match venues, with a debate about playing games at neutral grounds yet to be resolved. ·
Managers now have three weeks to prepare their squads for a return to action while Liverpool will restart needing two wins to secure their first Premier League title.

June return, early August finish?

The June 17 return would also see the league finish on the weekend of August 1-2, allowing for the FA Cup final to take place the following weekend.
That would allow time for UEFA’s competitions to conclude, with the governing body having previously stated their desire to finish the Champions League and Europa League by the end of August.

Phase Two gets the green light

On Wednesday, Premier League clubs voted unanimously to return to contact training, including tackling.
A statement, following a meeting of all 20 clubs, said: "Squads are now able to train as a group and engage in tackling while minimising any unnecessary close contact.
Clubs last week returned to training in small groups without contact and under strict health protocols. Phase Two allows up to 10 players to work together and would ease the time restrictions on training sessions and allow players to be closer.
The third phase would be a move to a more typical form of training in the build-up to actual games.
