It's two wins out of two for Arsenal, who now top the fledgling Premier League title. Although they were beaten, there'll be a lot Burnley can take from it, particularly an excellent, high-intensity first half.

It's over! Arsenal have won, a deserved victory after a much improved second half performance.

Ashley Barnes has been booked for a sly foul on Kolasinac, which interrupts a chance for Burnley as they progressed down the left.

The corner ricochets to Rodriguez on the far side. He tries a bicycle kick, but can't direct the ball on target.

Luiz has been booked for a foul off the ball too, and Burnley win a couple of quick corners. Hectic stuff at the end here, with Pope up for the corner.

Sokratis is booked for a foul near the halfway line. Arsenal break after clearing the free-kick, and make an utter mess of a two on one break.

Another cracking save by Pope! Willock gets to the byline and cuts it back to Torreira, whose fierce shot is pushed away to safety. There will be a minimum of four additional minutes.

Torreira's gone down for Arsenal here, barged over while trying to shield a loose ball for Leno to gather. He eventually bounces up, grimacing and holding his shoulder.

Burnley's intensity just seems to have dipped since the first half. They're still getting forward though, and a whipped cross from Pieters just misses Barnes at the front post and Leno gathers.

Ceballos is replaced by Lucas Torreira, and gets a standing ovation as he leaves the pitch.

Sokratis does well to challenge Rodriguez from a deep cross by Burnley, and the ball breaks through to Leno.

Westwood clips it to Ben Mee on the left of the area, but he can't direct his header back across goal and Leno gathers.

Luiz concedes a free-kick after running into the back of Barnes. This is central and about 30 yards out, and might be a chance for Burnley.

Naitland-Miles goes on a long run down the right and finds Pepe. He opens up to shoot from outside of the area, but can only tickle a weak shot straight at Pope.

A couple of quick free-kicks in Arsenal's half for Burnley, but they can't make anything from them.

Lacazette goes off for Arsenal, replaced by Kolasinac; Lennon takes the place of Gudmundsson for Burnley.

CHANCE FOR BURNLEY! Gudmundsson latches onto a loose ball on the right of Arsenal's area. He hooks a cross to McNeil, who puts a free header over the bar from eight yards out.

Luiz puts out a Lowton cross to give Burnley a corner. Leno flaps at it under pressure and Arsenal hack it clear.

Ceballlos, who has been excellent today, floats a deep free-kick into the Burnley area but it's cleared.
