Rico dabs in a tempting ball to Lerma, who heads across the goalline to force Kane to head away and out for a corner on the left.

Ramsdale hoofs the ball long into the Spurs defence, it drops to King and Bournemouth try to move it quickly to Brooks and Spurs intercept.

Stanislas advances on goal after a neat pass from Lurma, but Stanislas' forward pass into the path of King is too strong and bounces off the forward.

Rico lifts in a free kick from about 40 yards, but it wafts high into the box and is easy for Lloris to claim.

King skips to the touchline and wins a corner after Lamela could not get the ball away.

Spurs are seeing more of the ball now. Lamela takes a while to find Davies, whose cross is well over the box and out for a goal kick.

Nothing is given.

Kane appeals for a penalty! Kane went down at the back after King appears to nudge him over. It could well be given.

At the other end Smith puts the ball behind after a cross is whipped into the box. The first corner, from Bergwijn, earns another.

Smith's cross is blocked from the right as Bournemouth make a bright start.

Bournemouth are in 19th, and while they are clearly in a lot of trouble, a win would take them just a point from Watford in 17th and West Ham in 16th.

Spurs had a chance of Champions League qualification earlier this season, even post-lockdown. Now, though they are 10th. A win would take them into seventh, but it's hard to see them chasing down United or those above them now.
