Not much response from Tottenham after falling behind.

GOAL! It's been coming. Dier headed McNeil's cross to the edge of the box where Rodriguez fired a low drive that Lloris parried and Chris Wood pounced to open the scoring.

Cork races into the box and flashes a left-footed effort at goal that Lloris holds.

Cleared off the line! Rodriguez gets on the end of a back-post corner but sees his effort blocked and then Spurs somehow survive the ensuing goalmouth scramble.

Lovely hit from Wood from 20 yards flies just a yard over the bar. You expect that from Rodriguez but less from the big man.

Taylor in a lot of space on the left wing but it is headed away by Alderweireld.

The ball almost falls for Alli in the box in the first minute but Burnley clear.

Actually it seems Dier is lining up at centre back inbetween Davinson Sanchez and Alderweireld, with Vertonghen an exciting prospect at left back.

It seems a 4-2-3-1 formation for Spurs with Alli up front on his own.

The players line-up and then just run away on this occasion - due to the no handshaking directive of course. Better than the walking past and smiling debacle at Anfield earlier today.

Jose not willing to engage in his pre-match interview. Really have those third season vibes four months into his reign.

Not a bad goal for Spurs in the reverse fixture. For my money they miss their Korean ace more than the England skipper.

Spurs start the game in eighth place, only above their North London rivals on goal difference. Burnley are two points and three places below in 11th but could leapfrog their opponents with a win.

Burnley have kept four clean sheets out of five, you wouldn't rule out another one today.

Dier stays in the side despite his controversial end to the FA Cup loss to Norwich on Wednesday.

Remains to be seen how they'll line up but that looks a very defensive line-up from Tottenham.
