22'
Liverpool have a free kick right in a central position, 25 yards from goal. There are currently five players in the conversation about who takes it. Alexander-Arnold surely?
20'
Firmino brilliantly controls a long cross from Salah on the left of the Palace area. His angled pass doesn't find a teammate though, and Palace clear.
16'
GOOD SAVE! Gomez finds Mane just outside the Palace area with a raking long ball. Mane chests it and releases Firmino with a lovely back heel. Firmino opens up and aims at the bottom right corner, but Hennessey gets across well to hold the shot.
15'
Zaha is coming off, and looks gutted. Max Meyer takes his place.

13'
An early blow here for Palace as it looks like Zaha has picked up a knock, and will have to come off.
11'
Zaha finds van Aanholt with a lovely ball down the left wing. Unfortunately for van Aanholt his ball infield to Ayew is behind the Palace striker, and Liverpool clear.
10'
Mane gets to the byline, and stands a ball up to the back post. Henderson comes in, completely unmarked, but lashes a wild volley into the stands. He had more time than he realised there.
8'
CHANCE! Henderson whips a ball into the back post, which Ward accidentally knocks into the path of Salah. It's cleared before he can head it at goal but falls to Wijnaldum, who scuffs a bobbler wide of goal from ten yards out.
6'
Van Dijk tries to pick out Salah with a long diagonal ball, but Hennessey comes out to claim it.
4'
Palace are into it now, with Zaha leading them out down the left. The ball is switched to Kouyate over on the left, but he can't keep hold of it and Liverpool clear.
2'
A pattern has formed quickly here, as Liverpool zip the ball around and switch play at will. Every Palace player is forty yards from Hennessey's goal at the moment.

KICK OFF
We're underway at Anfield.
20:13
You'll Never Walk Alone echoes around Anfield and then fades out. Both sides then take the knee, because Black Lives Matter.
20:10
We’re almost ready to go here as the teams begin to wander onto the pitch. Your referee tonight is Martin Atkinson.
20:05
To seal the title, Liverpool need just five points, from anywhere, as a bare minimum requirement. Three tonight would mean that they could seal it at Manchester City at the Etihad a week on Thursday.
20:00
Fans of history will know that Palace have form for shocking Liverpool just as they’re on the brink of silverware. They famously beat their hosts tonight 4-3 in an epic FA Cup semi-final in 1990, after losing 9-0 at Anfield earlier that season. Fast forward 24 years and they came back from 3-0 down at Selhurst Park to score three in the last eleven minutes and nick a draw, a huge blow in Liverpool’s ultimately unsuccessful title bid in 2013-14. A Palace win tonight won’t stop Liverpool claiming the title, but it would no doubt please their Roy Hodgson after his brief and torrid time in charge at Anfield.
19:55
When these two teams played earlier in the season the match was settled when Roberto Firmino smuggled in a late winner at Selhurst Park. In the previous round of fixtures in the Premier League, Liverpool had beaten their nearest challengers Manchester City at Anfield. Firmino’s winner here was crucial in keeping up the momentum that would eventually take Liverpool far out of the reach of City and everyone else.
19:50
Liverpool have got the upper hand between the two historically, winning 30 of the fixtures contested in all competitions. Palace have won 14, and there have been 11 draws. Liverpool have won the last six in a row, but Palace have managed to win at Anfield twice while Jurgen Klopp has been in charge.
19:45
Crystal Palace currently sit in ninth in the Premier League table and have won their last four matches in a row. It’s a useful run of results, and they’ve put it together without conceding a goal. Two early strikes at the Vitality Stadium took care of Bournemouth four days ago. It’s a tough ask, given Liverpool’s awesome record at Anfield in the league, but can Palace get a result here and push for a Europa League place next season?
19:40
Liverpool have eight games left to play in the Premier League and have the chance to increase their lead over Manchester City in second to 23 points with a victory tonight. Let that sink in for a moment. At some point in the next few weeks Liverpool will be crowned champions of England for the first time in thirty years. They might not be able to celebrate it in the way they’d envisioned, but they have had a truly exceptional season.
19:35
Wayne Hennessey is back in goal for Palace, while Mamadou Sakho takes the place of Scott Dann at centre-back. James McCarthy replaces Luka Milivojevic in midfield, while Andros Townsend comes into a front three in place of Christian Benteke.
