Chelsea played well for 25 minutes, but it wasn't enough; City got themselves into the game and found just enough quality to get the job done. They move above Chelsea in the table and now lie nine points behind Liverpool, and one point behind Leicester.

Nice from Mahrez, darting a ball into space and in behind, for Foden, who drills a low cross without looking ... and there's no one in the middle to stick it in.

And they win a corner which goes short, then Mahrez curls a cross directly into Kepa's hands.

Which isn't to say they won't score again.

City enjoy a spot of possession deep inside the Chelsea half, down their left, then wind up rolling the ball all the way back. They've settled, basically.

The first half of this was a lot better than the second.
