Fernandes goes down holding his knee! He rolls off the pitch, and if he's hurt United have a problem. He's quickly back on, but I think he pulls out of a challenge shortly afterwards. In fairness, he was never getting the ball, so it was probably the right decision.

Gary Neville uses the phrase "waiting to get beaten" about how Blades played before the break. It's a while since that happened at Old Trafford. Mousset looks like he might be hurt, but carries on for now.

Good from Blades, moving the ball around the United box, but each time it comes in, there's a defender there. Eventually, Lindelof concedes a corner, which is wasted, but that last passage was excellent - Blades looked one good pass or ricochet away from scoring.

My guess is that he told his players to get stuck in and stop letting United play, perhaps in Anglo-Saxon.

United still look dangerous when on the attack, but this is a much more even game now. Whatever Chris Wilder said during the break, it worked.

Good possession from Blades, moving the ball through midfield then from left to right, before Lundstram lashes an unnecessary shot miles from anywhere. Meanwhile, De Gea berates his defenders for not getting out to challenge.

Fernandes very nearly sticks Rashford in, but Jagielka extends a desperate leg and it's enough to intercept.

Blades have had a bit more off the ball these last three minutes and Fleck bursts through midfield, but then he spreads wide to Baldock whose cross is poor.

Norwood picks out a ball to Mousset, and this is something for Blades because they've got options as United step up. Lindelof is gambling really, because he's nowhere McGoldrick, to whom the ball goes ... but McGoldrick went too early and the flag goes up.

The other games in progress - Norwich-Everton, Wolves-Bournemouth, Newcastle-Villa - are all 0-0.

Break time. Blades really need it.

United are so smooth going forward, the ball popping between Wan-Bissaka, Pogba and Fernandes. They don't quite find the killer pass, but you get the feeling that they're not far off a second goal.

United probe.

United win another corner and this time Maguire meets it, heading home, but the goal is quickly disallowed because he fouled Basham in the process.

Lovely from United - they've got so much flair now. Matic snaps into Fernandes, who touches off for Rashford who touches off for Pogba, who wedges a luscious return over the defensive line which drops onto Rashford's laces ... and he misses his kick.

Fernandes cracks at goal, but none of his mates run across Moore's sightline, so the keeper can punch behind; the corner comes to nowt.

Rashford slides Shaw into space behind Baldock, who pulls him down just outside the box, down it's left-hand side. He's booked, and Fernandes will whip in the free-kick...

Blades look good enough in attack to score, but also not good enough in defence to concede four or five.

Norwood picks a pass out to Baldock, who has some space, and he cuts across the face of the box then whams a shot that hits ... Harry Maguire's head. so United counter at speed and Martial drives towards the box with Rashford alongside! He draws the keeper, but unwittingly through a bum touch, so Moore comes out and Martial squares cleverly for Rashford ... the ball's slightly behind him, and he somehow falls into a shot that bobbles wide of an empty net!

United are starting to purr, the ball spinning through midfield with one and two-touch stuff. United are, as Gary Neville says "Sustaining their attacks", a favourite phrase of Alex Ferguson.
