Another chance for Watford! Deulofeu's low cross from the left is dummied by Hughes and reaches Deulofeu, who dances between two defenders on the edge of the six-yard box. His touch takes him wide of goal, almost at the byline, so he turns and drags a shot into the side netting at the near post.

Although United have had plenty of possession, their passing so far has been pretty laboured. Watford have been comfortable.

United's first shot of the match. Greenwood picks up a loose ball, moves to within 20 yards and flips a shot is too close to Foster.

United haven't got going yet, and again lose the ball in a dangerous position. This time it comes to nothing but it's a reflection of a forceful start from Watford.

Chance for Watford! Matic and Maguire ran into each other on the edge of the area, a slapstick piece of defending that allowed Deeney to move through on goal. He was about to shoot when Shaw lumbered across to make a vital challenge.

Some good pressing from Watford forces de Gea to clip the ball straight out of play.

Lindelof passes the ball straight out of play. Great stuff.

Peep peep! After a minute's silence for the legendary Harry Gregg, Watford get the match under way.

Ten minutes until kick off. I think this will be a tough game for United. They have struggled to break teams down at Old Trafford, and Watford's defence has been really well organised under Nigel Pearson.

Watford have only ever won once at Old Trafford, a 2-1 victory in the 1978-79 League Cup, when Luther Blissett scored both goals. That was at the start of their glory years under Graham Taylor. All their league victories over United have come at Vicarage Road.
13:26
United's form has been mixed of late - as it has all season - but they had an excellent win at Chelsea in their last Premier League game. They also lost at home to Burnley a month ago, so anything's possible with this lot.
13:19
Watford made a spectacular start under Nigel Pearson, winning four of their first six Premier League games - including a comprehensive 2-0 win over Manchester United at Vicarage Road in December. Since then, their form has regressed towards the mean, with only two points from their last four league games and an FA Cup defeat at Tranmere.

Watford have made one change from the team that draw at Brighton a fortnight ago. Craig Dawson replaces Adrian Mariappa, whose own goal cost Watford victory in that game.
13:05
Manchester United, who played 3-4-1-2 at Chelsea and Club Brugge last week, have reverted to a back four. Mason Greenwood starts and Scott McTominay, who has been out since Boxing Day, returns to the squad.

MANCHESTER UNITED: de Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Matic, Greenwood, Fernandes, James, Martial… Subs: Romero, Bailly, Williams, Mata, Chong, McTominay, Ighalo. /// WATFORD: Foster, Dawson, Kabasele, Cathcart, Masina, Capoue, Hughes, Pereyra, Doucoure, Deulofeu, Deeney.
