Bowen wins a corner for West Ham, who are now looking the more likely of the two.

A bobbling ball breaks to Soucek in the Newcastle area, but he can only hook his shot a couple of yards over the bar.

GOOD SAVE! Yarmolenko places a give and go with Soucek on the edge of the box and then wallops a shot at goal, which Dubravka punches away from danger.

CHANCE! Soucek gets ahead of Lascelles and glances a diving header at goal, but it's well gathered by Dubravka.

Andy Carroll replaces Joelinton for Newcastle.

Newcastle are settling in to possession here. West Ham have not done much since their goal, and the home side look the most likely to press on and get a winner right now.

Shelvey plays a neat one-two with Krafth, but drifts his cross over the front and back posts and away from danger.

Manquillo finds Ritchie on the left, but he hits a disappointing low cross straight into the hands of Fabianski.

Yarmolenko replaces Fornals for West Ham. Earlier on, Ritchie came on during the drinks break for Gayle for Newcastle.

We're level again! Shelvey picks the ball up just outside the area and pokes it to Gayle, who touches it back to him. Shelvey takes it in his stride and then drills a low left-footed shot past Fabianksi and into the far corner.

West Ham loft in a corner from the right. Rice wins it at the back post, and clumps his header off the bar; the loose ball falls to Soucek, who volleys it straight into the bottom corner to put West Ham in front.

Rice picks out a lovely crossfield ball to Cresswell, but the volleyed cross is cleared by Newcastle.

Neither side has really got going in this half yet. Tidy work from Saint-Maximin and Krafth wins a corner for Newcastle, from which nothing comes.

Almiron and Joelinton lead a menacing looking break for Newcastle. They find Shelvey in the area, but his bobbling lay-off to Almiron is a difficult ball to hit and Almiron spoons it over the bar.
