Lampard is on the pitch applauding the Chelsea fans. He's taking his first victory as Chelsea manager in his stride, but inwardly he's got to be relieved with that. Norwich gave a good account of themselves today; they may have lost two of their first three, but they look to have more than enough quality to be a handful for most teams in the Premier League.

It's all over, Chelsea have beaten Norwich City 3-2.

Zouma wins a towering header in the centre circle, and the ball breaks to Willian. He exchanges passes with Kovacic to escape into the Norwich area, but blazes wide from a tight angle.

Giroud holds the ball up superbly, and lays it off to Barkley. He bursts into the area and hits a low, left-footed drive that Krul does well to turn around the post.

The final change for Chelsea, as Alonso replaces Mount. There will be a minimum of five additional minutes.

That triple change has invigorated Norwich. Lewis gets in a good crossing position on the left, but Zouma stabs it clear.

Buendia tries to release Pukki on the break, but his pass just has too much on it again and Chelsea clear.

Willian replaces Pulisic for Chelsea.

McLean cannily wins a free-kick on the left of the Chelsea area. Buendia tries to find Godfrey at the back post, but it's just overhit. News on the Chelsea 'goal' of a few minutes ago - Atkinson actually allowed it initially, but the VAR check confirmed Giroud had knocked the ball out of Krul's hands.

A triple chance for Norwich. McLean, Vrancic and Srbeny are on, Leitner, Stiepermann, and Trybull are off.

Chelsea get the ball in the net but well after Krul spills the ball under pressure. Atkinson, after a VAR check, decides it was a foul. That looked the right decision.

Another great break from Chelsea down the right. The cutback finds Mount, who dummies over the ball to let it run to Barkley. He finds the angle for the shot but it's blocked away to safety.

A change for Chelsea, Giroud is on to replace the two goal hero Abraham.

A glorious fifty yard pass from Leitner finds Buendia on the left. He skips into the area past Azpilicueta, but his drilled low cross flies through the area with no Norwich players in sight.

NORWICH HIT THE BAR! Buendia whips a corner in from the left, Godfrey rises superbly and clangs his header off the crossbar and away.

Just before the Chelsea goal, Buendia had found Pukki in the area. He could only hit a meek shot straight at Kepa, from where Chelsea broke ruthlessly. Could that win it?

Abraham has scored again! A lovely guided pass finds him on the edge of the Norwich area. He cuts across both Hanley and Godfrey to open the shooting angle, and drills a low right footed shot past Krul and into the net.

Barkley has a go from 25 yards now, but it's straight at Krul again and he gathers comfortably.

Respite for Norwich as Lewis breaks away down the left. His long cross finds his fellow full-back Aarons, but the volleyed cutback can't pick out a Norwich player.

Chelsea have really pinned Norwich back after half-time, the game is being played almost exclusively in the Norwich half.
