CLOSE! United almost equalise immediately. Fred whips in a free kick from the left and Rashford looks certain to score with a header, but Sanchez does just enough to put him off and it's scrambled behind for a corner.
27'
GOAL! Tottenham Hotspur 1 (Bergwijn 27) Manchester United 0
Tottenham are ahead, and it's a wonderful goal from Bergwijn! He gets the ball 40 yards out from the United goal, and runs around Maguire with almost contemptuous ease before unloading a shot that goes through De Gea and high into the net.

Superb work from McTominay releases James down the right. He gets to the byline and stands up a cross for Rashford, but it's just to high for him at the back post. Rashford retrieves it and finds Fernandes, who cuts onto his left foot and drills a low shot straight at Lloris.
23'
The players are now taking a water break.
22'
EXCELLENT SAVE! A lovely ball into the box from Fernandes skids into the path of Rashford, who hits a snap shot with his left foot that Lloris saves well with his feet.
21'
Fred takes a whack now, flattened by a late challenge from Davies as United tried to break. Again, no yellow card, which is generous from Jonathan Moss.
18'
James almost gets in behind Davies from a long diagonal ball from the left, but Davies just gets a head to it to put it behind for a corner.
17'
Lamela goes in late on McTominay; he's luck not to get a booking for that.
15'
Lindelof cuts a lovely ball right through the centre of Tottenham to McTominay, just outside the Spurs area. He tries to find Rashford but it's intercepted; that was a difficult pass and the shot looked the better option.
14'
The first shot in anger of the night, as Son cuts in from the left and lets rip from 25 yards out. He scuffs it horribly though and it trickles through to De Gea.
12'
Lamela wins a free kick near halfway after aggressive harrying from McTominay, who gets a telling off. A couple of minutes ago Lamela had a half chance to place Son in behind Lindelof, but didn't recognise the opportunity.
9'
Nice interplay between Martial and Rashford gets the latter free and running at the Tottenham area, but he's got no support and has to turn back.
7'
This hasn't really settled down yet, both teams are struggling with the pace of the pitch. Scrappy stuff so far.
5'
Kane finds Aurier free on the right of United's area, and his cross is deflected behind for a corner.
3'
There's driving rain in North London tonight, and the pitch is playing very quickly. This will be a test for the players after three months without a competitive match.

KICK-OFF
We're underway at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
20:16
After taking a moment to remember victims of the coronavirus, both sides now take the knee in support of Black Lives Matter.
20:11
The captains Hugo Lloris and Harry Maguire are ready to bring out the teams. Your referee this evening is Jonathan Moss.
20:05
The last meeting between these teams feels like an aeon ago. Back at the start of December 2019, United were ninth in the table and Solskjaer was under huge pressure. Mourinho on the other hand was in his honeymoon phase as Spurs manager. Spurs had won his first three games in charge, scoring ten goals in the process. On the night, a double from Rashford cancelled out a superb strike from Alli to give United all three points.
20:00
This is the 193rd game between Tottenham and Manchester United, a rivalry that goes all the way back to Spurs knocking a team then called Newton Heath out of the FA Cup after a replay in 1899. It’s a fixture rich in both history and entertainment, no better encapsulated than in the 1965-66 season. A Tottenham team inspired by Jimmy Greaves walloped United 5-1 at White Hart Lane in October 1965; two months later, a screamer from Bobby Charlton on a rain-soaked mudheap at Old Trafford set United on the way to a 5-1 win by way of revenge.
19:55
There will be 21 other players on the field tonight but, when you sit back and think of the enormity of what he’s done, it’s only right that we take another moment to praise Rashford. Even if he became the first United player to score seven goals in a game tonight, it would be a footnote compared to his achievements earlier this week. What a magnificent young person he is.
