Despite all their injury problems, Liverpool remain top of the table, and victory in this early kick off will, temporarily at least, send them six points clear at the top of the table. Palace are in decent form, however, having gone three unbeaten. Tottenham were pegged back here last week, will Liverpool also drop points?

Since their return to the Premier League in 2013, Crystal Palace haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their 14 league games against Liverpool (W4 D1 L9), with the Eagles losing each of their last six in a row against the Reds. Liverpool have won each of their last five Premier League away games against Crystal Palace – only against Norwich (7, ongoing) and Aston Villa (6, 2011-2019) have they won more consecutively on the road in the competition.

SALAH ON BENCH, BENTEKE SUSPENDED: The big news is that Mohamed Salah is only on the bench for Liverpool, with Takumi Minamino handed a start in the front three. Naby Ketia and Joel Matip also come in. There is not Christian Benteke for Palace, who is suspended for the visit or his former club. Another former Red, Nathaniel Clyne, comes into the Palace XI after being released by Liverpool in the summer, with Gary Cahill, Jeffrey Schlupp and Jordan Ayew also starting.
