Pickford seems fine to carry on. Everton still well under the cosh.

Pickford is down getting treatment and looks very awkward with a sore hip.

Gudmonsson hits the post! This is crazy. McNeil plays him in 25 yards from goal and while not as sweet as McNeil's left footer it is well placed and beats Pickford only to come back off the post.

GOAL FOR BURNLEY! What a goal from McNeil. He turns Allan easily 25 yards from goal then takes another touch to tee himself up before curling in the top corner leaving Pickford with no chance.

Could have been a VAR check for a penalty there. It struck Holgate's arm in an aerial contest with Mee. His arm stopped Mee from getting a clear header at goal. Their arms were locked with each other which may have had an impact on the non-decision.

Wood takes a long kick from Pope on the chest and turns a la Cyrille Regis before racing towards goal and his shooting effort is deflected wide by Godfrey.

Richarlison was fouled on the edge of the box but the referee played a dubious advantage and Iwobi wasted the crossing opportunity.

Already you can't help wonder when Sigurdsson might be brought on. This doesn't look like an Everton side who can score multiple goals.

GOAL FOR BURNLEY! Their first real attack, McNeil puts a low ball across the six-yard box that Keane clears to the edge of the box where Wood curls an effort inside the right-hand post.

Back up the other end, Richarlison slides a ball for Calvert-Lewin to run onto but Pope comes out to claim the ball.

Burnley encroaching deep into Everton's half for just about the first time in the game.

In the last match against Arsenal, Burnley could have been well down in the first ten minutes but look more solid today. That said an unnecessary foul gives Everton a free kick to put in the box.

Richarlison turns 35 yard out and races towards goal before striking from 20 yards and forcing a good diving stop from Nick Pope to his left.

Everton are a shade over even money to win, Burnley are around 3/1. The draw at 5/2 looks the most value.

Not an ominous stat, Burnley games have had less than 2.5 goals in 12 of 15 games. Everton in 7 of their last 9. Happy to go out on a limb and say there will not be a goalfest.

A good omen for Everton.

While Everton are boom or bust with three wins and three defeats in their recent games, Burnley have four draws from their last five, with a 4-0 defeat to the rampant Tottenham attack their only reverse. The Toffees seem unlikely to expose them in the same way.

A massive chance for Everton to go within two points of fourth-place Chelsea with a game in hand if they win today.
