There's plenty for Carlo Ancelotti to ponder going into the international break. After winning their first seven in all competitions, they have lost the last four, with three losses in the last three. They remain fifth but could be leapfrogged by Wolves, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Arsenal this weekend. The latter two play one another. United are thirteenth.

And that's full-time. Bruno Fernandes inspires Manchester United to yet another away win and that should be enough to lift the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the poor losses to Arsenal and Istanbul Basaksehir over the last week.

GOAL!!!
Everton are left kicking themselves as Doucoure misses his kick in the United box and United charge up the other end to finish it once and for all. It's Cavani on the end of the break and it's an assist for Fernandes.

United have a free kick in the Everton half and look like they're setting up to run down the last few seconds of stoppage time.

OVER!
We're into four minutes of stoppage time and Everton have had their best chance in an age - and it wasn't that good an opportunity. Coleman cuts it back for Doucoure, who completely miscues it and it's well over the top. Poor.

Rashford is strong, seeing off a challenge from Allan but he elects to shoot rather look for a team-mate so it's an easy save for Pickford at the near post.

Signs of Everton giving up a bit here, with Doucoure booked for a wild challenge on McTominay.

Everton appeal for a penalty, with Fernandes' hands all over Doucoure when defending a set piece but it's not enough to give a spot kick.

A passage of play that sums up Everton. Bernard gets the ball in space on the left but his cross is high and wild and drifts out for a goal kick - he needs to pick out the two attackers and that simply wasn't good enough.
78'
Cenk Tosun is coming on shortly to partner Calvert-Lewin and the Everton forward needs some company. He makes a fine run into the box but is forced to settle for a corner after none of his team-mates join him in attack.

Bernard is looking for his second, swinging his left boot at a volleyed chance but he slices it over the bar. No sign of Everton troubling De Gea... yet.

Mata has a dig from distance but it's rather tame and easily cleared by the Everton defence.

What a chance!
Rashford beats the offside trap and is alone as he marches towards the Everton goal, but Pickford saves his tame effort. That could have been curtains - there was no sign of the flag!

After that frantic period, the game has settled into more of a slower rhythm. It's still Everton with all of the possession and they've brought Alex Iwobi on to see if he can unpick United's defence.

Everton have an injury worry, as Digne is taken out by a lunge by Harry Maguire in the box. But offside had already been given. Maguire's studs connect with the instep of the French defender but he'll likely be saved by the flag. But it's deja vu all over again...

Dear, oh dear, Jordan Pickford. The Everton keeper drops a free kick straight into the path of Maguire, who is completely cleaned out by Keane and the England No 1. Maguire's shot goes over the bar and somehow the VAR decides it's not a penalty.

Coleman makes a great run into the box but eventually is crowded out and off balance. Everton with plenty of intent but no teeth so far.
55'
Everton have once again made a bright start to the half. But that's not been converted yet into any meaningful attempts on goal. The possession count for the last five minutes stands at 77-23 in the hosts' favour.

James!
Calvert-Lewin goes on a good run on the left hand side of the box and clips it towards James, who is shaping up to scissor kick it into the net. But Maguire gets across well and makes the block.

Everton have only had three shots in this game, and they may be looking to change things, with Cenk Tosun warming up.
